About Me

I have a strange, handsome man running around the house whom I happen to be rather attracted to.
He brings me love and happiness, cookies and video games.
He’s by my side even when he’s not around.
He stays with me when I’m sick, helps me walk when I cannot, feeds and dresses me when I’m too tired, and watches over me when I sleep.
He takes my pain away with his smile.
He makes sure I’m taken care of.
He works hard to prove it.
He’s my strength when I am weak.
He crawls into my bed while I sleep and keeps me warm with
snuggles.
He really is a joy, something I’ve needed in my life.
He makes everyday worth living for.
I only hope I can do as much for him as he has done for me. I’d gladly pick up the pieces and put him together if he ever fell apart.
That’s what you do when you love someone unconditionally.
I have another man running around my house.
He has four fuzzy paws, big blue eyes, a wonderfully cold wet nose, and a beautiful singing voice.
He prances around like he’s king of the roost.
He sheds in self-defense.
He’s honestly too curious for his own good and is quick to tell you his opinion.
He has an awesome foot fetish. He takes my lovers foot in his little paws, loves and nuzzles against it. Then, gradually, shoves his cold, slimy nose between the naked toes, breathes in deep, and behold! A look of ecstasy unfolds across the furballs face, his tongue lolling
out in a happy bliss!
I have SLE – Systemic Lupus Eurythmetosis. I have RA, Polymyositis, and everything under the sun as well. I have permanent damage to my joints and muscles. I’m losing the ability to use my hands. I have chronic pain. Yet for some reason or another, I still bounce out of bed as happy as can be. I still find happiness in just about everything. I’m happy for every day I get to see the sun try to peek through my window. I’m glad I get to hear the footsteps of my lover as he comes down the hallway, my cat as he meows at the door for his breakfast, and the fish popping off just because they can.
I love Art, painting, books, computers, electronics, gardening, sewing, driving my husband and cat up the wall, food, Graphic design and Multimedia stuff, music dancing, uhm…and food. That would be cooking and baking, too, not just eating it. My lover is my guinea pig. He seems quite fond of everything I’ve made so far.
I spend from about 9am until about 5pm Monday through Friday listening to everything from house to techno to 80′s to classical. On the weekends my cat serenades us with his singing of his favorite opera,”I’m loud, obnoxious, and hungry! FEED ME!”
I love and live for music! I grew up with it and, until I became sick and can no longer use my hands for much. I played the piano for 20 years. I miss it, but I still try to play on my keyboard. It’s a 72 Key Yamaha I adore! Sometimes even the cat likes to join in and play a few tunes.
I also love movies. B-Flicks, Horror, Sci-Fi Fantasy, Comedy, all of it! Also, you know you’ve watched a movie too much when you can recite every line and act out the part of each scene.
If I had to name one movie I’m guilty of doing this to…
It would be Spaceballs!
I also enjoy certain TV Programs. I like cartoon network most of all, and then of course sci-fi and random bits of tv shows that don’t keep my interest for too long. I enjoy Comedy Central too, and the History and Discovery channels. I started loving the History channel when my 11th grade US History teacher used it for his lessons, and based the questions on tests and homework from the programs and the books. And if we took good notes, we were allowed to use them in all our tests!
Most of the time I read the news about random stories that no one else reads. The stuff that really shouldn’t be news but was important enough to someone else to be just that. Stuff that’s so horrifically hilarious in some sad way that I just can’t help but read it because it just goes to show how innocently ignorant people can be!
And if I’m not getting a good laugh or swearing at the screen while reading the news, I have my nose in a book. I’ll read anything from bead and art books, to activity and puzzle books. I’ve got Horror, a few Sci-Fi and Fantasy, Herb, Medicine and Health books, and even a few gardening magazines. Oh, and don’t forget the Cooking and Baking books!
